2003 Hobie Cat Corporation FX one - EDMONTON

This is a rare Hobie FX one built by Hobie Europe. Very few were imported to North America. It was built to replace the H17 It has the wave piercing hulls. It has a main, jib and spinnaker. The jib is just 2 years old while the main and spinnaker are original equipment but still in good condition. It comes with a momma bob to prevent turtling and a righting pole to assist in recovery. The boat has trapeze for hiking out but there is NOT a trapeze harness. There is also a set of beach wheels with the proper cradles to fit the hulls. A protective sleeve is included, this protects the dagger boards while transporting the boat. Both the jib and spin can be raised or doused from the trampoline. A custom made canvas cover is included. The boat trailer is fitted with a lockable fibreglass sailbox. There both front and rear mast supports. The trailer has new tires and a spare. the cradles are the same as found on the beach wheels. The trailer has a 1&7/8 inch hitch and a four prong electrical hookup. Finally there is a assembly manual with a parts catalogue. There is also several articles of interest taken from Beachcats Forum.
This is a high performance boat only suitable for experienced sailors. I am old (85) and while I can still sail it I am not agile enough to to get out on the trapeze unless someone else is at the helm, I am not sailing to the potential of the boat and am looking for something smaller and easier for an old guy.
